Price mistakes aside, the current Canon Store refurbished sale is extremely hot as it features a number of products seen for the first time in a sale, or at a lowest price seen yet. We did the analysis, here’s a run-down of those “best new deals” in the current sale — those deals we haven’t ever seen before. Mirrorless Cameras
The EOS R50 body-only ($379) and the EOS R100 body-only ($239) are at the lowest refurbished prices seen yet, both discounted $60 below their previous lows. The EOS R7 for $799 is also a new low, but sadly sold out.
RF Lenses
The standout “L” lens deal is the RF 135mm f/1.8L IS USM which is now $1499, a discount of $210 below the previous best, and a steep drop for this lens which was hard-to-find until the beginning of the year.
Although the refurbished introduction of the super-telephoto RF 800mm f/5.6 L IS USM ($11999) and RF 1200mm f/8 L IS USM ($13999) is exciting, sneaking in are some great deals on the less expensive super-telephotos, with the RF 800mm F11 DO IS STM ($499) discounted $100 below the historic best.
Rounding out the RF lenses, the RF 28mm f/2.8 STM ($179), RF 15-30mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM ($249), and RF 24-50mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM ($179) are discounted to new lows (by $50 or more), while the RF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM ($199) appears refurbished for the first time during a sale.
EF Lenses
In terms of big discounts, the EF 600mm f/4L IS III USM ($7999) is $1360 better than any price previously seen. But more practically, the EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II ($1099) beats the previous best by an incredible $300, while the EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM ($999) and EF 11-24mm f/4L USM ($1299) are both $100 off previous lows.
Speedlites
The Speedlite EL-5 at $149.00 is an astounding deal — $90 off the previous refurbished best price, and especially good compared to the recent $399 retail price for this speedlite.
