Overall price considering features, it’s hard to argue with the Canon R8 w/ 24-240mm. It’s a hobbyist/amateur/consumer powerhouse.
If you’re looking for a brighter zoom, there’s the RF 28-70 f/2.8 IS (out of stock — but may come back?).
The RF 35mm f/1.8 IS Macro is a great prime too, at a very affordable price.
Not listed above is the “Refurbished EOS R7 RF-S18-150mm F3.5-6.3 IS STM Lens Kit” for $1300…if you’re wanting the APS-C version of the R8 + 24-240mm.
Both currently out of stock, the R50 + RF 100-400 is a wildlife combo on the cheap.
