Hello, do you know if the 10% back applies to the sub-total before taxes or the after-tax amount? Thanks!

From their T&C, “Offer does not apply to shipping charges, taxes or other fees associated with the purchase of an eligible product.”

Great deal, too bad I am loaded with gear and have no needs, only wants. My Prime card got me 10% off on fuel for the entire fourth quarter.. which was really only an extra 5, as, for many years, I have had a credit union card that is 5% c/b unlimited on fuel. Every little bit helps. You do rawk, Gordon!!!

Dang I just bought one but still under the 30 day return with my prime card. Wonder if they will adjust my rewards.

So apparently the 10% includes the 5% you already get with the card plus an additional 5% back. Here’s the T&C:

Prime Card Bonus Offer: Get 5% Back, and additional 5% Back on the amount charged to this card
Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature Card: Offer good during promotional periods only and while supplies last. Get additional rewards on eligible purchases shipped and sold by Amazon.com made using your Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Card, excluding purchases made through Subscribe and Save and Installments. The amount listed in the promotional offer includes the 5% Back you already earn on Amazon.com purchases with your Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Card, and the extra % Back you can earn with this promotion. This promotional offer only applies to the portion of net qualifying purchases (purchases less returns and other credits) of eligible items paid for with your Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Card at Amazon.com. The extra % Back will post to your account within a week of the transaction posting, and will appear on your monthly credit card billing statement and be available for use within 1-2 billing cycles. To qualify for this promotional offer, your account must be open and not in default at the time of fulfillment. This promotional offer is non-transferable. Amazon reserves the right to modify or cancel this offer at any time. For more information about your rewards program, see your Rewards Program Agreement.

For the lens I was looking at, the Street Price is still better, but the 30-day Amazon return window might make those of us on the fence more comfortable.

Is any prime store card even non visa card eligible for the extra 5% deal?

Please check with Amazon to be certain, but there’s a picture of four “participating cards” on their promotional banner — the Prime Visa, the Whole Foods Visa, Amazon Store Card, and one more — but note it doesn’t mention the non-Visa cards in the T&C. Please contact Amazon to be 100% certain before purchasing.

Amazon can and does periodically adjust the list of items with available cashback. It looks like they’ve stopped the cashback on some items.
