Canon USA started a set of instant rebates for the period between now and December 1st, which covers the Thanksgiving Week and Black Friday shopping events. This means the Black Friday (brand new) price for these items is now set. This doesn’t rule out dealers breaking MAP or future bonuses (such as a free battery grip incentive) but it’s rare to see the a stacked instant rebate.

Ah a shame, I was hoping the $200 instant rebate would help out the street price, I’d be all over the 200-800 at $1,479.99
