How long was the price mistake up? Did anyone get an order in for $1749 for the refurb R5? This could be a hint of Canon’s lowered pricing levels for the older inventory when the new R5MKII starts shipping.
I did get an order placed for the R5 at $1749, but it shows still processing. I am not sure if they will honor it.
As the sales kept rolling in I ordered a 24-70 because it was first sent out as $1299 but it showed $1499, which is still a good price, so I checked out AGAIN with that lens about 30 minutes AFTER the R5 order was placed and the 24-70 has already got a shipping notification despite being placed after the R5 ‘mistake’. I am wondering if they will cancel my R5 purchase. It’s a little suspicious they would already be shipping the other item.
UPDATE: Just got shipping notification from Canon on the R5 at $1749
