Amazon is always a bit slow to lower their prices after Canon instant rebates, but they should show the new pricing by the morning.

Any idea how long these prices will last?
Since it’s a Canon rebate program, it would probably be a safe bet that these prices will last through the end of October, and possibly until early January. Given the time of year, I’d be willing to say the latter will come true, and the rebates could even be expanded in November. Don’t quote me on that, but given 2 years of pent-up demand and short supply, I wouldn’t be suprised by this, since Canon likes to juice sales figures before the end of the year.
