Canon has announced the Canon EF-S 35mm f/2.8 Macro IS STM. It’s now available for pre-order at B&H Photo Video and Adorama for $349.00. Estimated shipping date is June 2017.

This is a new EF-S macro lens (designed for crop sensors) that features a 1:1 maximum magnification and a 5.1″ minimum focusing distance. One unique new feature is an integrated Macro Lite LED on the front of the lens, as an additional illumination for close-up subjects.
