So everything is miraculously back in stock now that the sale is over. Sounds like the new Canon USA management team intentionally crushed an event that many of their loyal customers looked forward to every year.

Yep. This year was very disappointing. Most items are either out of stock to begin with or gone in the first 10 minutes. Price wise they are more or less just a rerun of last year’s BF sales, though it’s less of an issue since last year’s deal was great. Canon likely artificially limited the stock so they can sell more at regular prices after BF
