If you do the math, the refurbished lenses are quite expensive compared to the street price ones. For instance, the EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II’s street price is $1499. While the refurbished one seems to be cheaper at $1367.28, they are the same price after you calculated in the sales tax from Canon. So don’t do it! Just get it at the street price….

A good point. However, I think it is only that price for this weekend. I think normally it is closer to 1600 on the street price. So if anyone was looking to get that lens, now would be a good time on that street price.

It took me over 40 minutes trying and retrying to order the 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM II and it finally went through. Total $1606. No idea how I’m gonna eat for the rest of the month, but I’ll sure have some sweet pics.
