Hot: PIXMA PRO-100 for $79 AR, or Combo 6D Mark II, 5D Mark IV

Posted August 7, 2017 at 12:48 pm EDT by CanonPriceWatch. 22 comments.

B&H Photo Video has the Canon PIXMA PRO-100 for only $79.99, after a $250 mail-in rebate (printer + paper). This is a limited time deal and only available for two days (or until sold out.) You must add-to-cart to see the discounted price of $329 in-cart.

The even better deal is to pair the printer with the purchase of a body and get tremendous savings from a $350 mail-in rebate (camera + printer + paper). You actually save $20 when you add the printer, versus the price of the camera alone. As the printer ink and print head sells for $100-120, this makes it a fantastic deal.

EOS 6D Mark II + PIXMA PRO-100 for $1979 AR at B&H
EOS 6D Mark II + 24-105 II + PIXMA PRO-100 for $3029 AR via Street Price
EOS 5D Mark IV + PIXMA PRO-100 for $3049 AR via Street Price
EOS 80D + PIXMA PRO-100 for $969 AR via Street Price

When inquiring about the printer bundles via street price, please be sure to mention “printer bundle” in the comments. Note that a new mail-in rebate period just began on August 1st. You are eligible for this rebate, even if you took advantage of a previous printer rebate (in July or prior.)

Stock Running Low on Solar Eclipse Photography Gear at B&H

Posted August 6, 2017 at 2:32 pm EDT by CanonPriceWatch. 0 comments.

If you’re preparing to photograph the total solar eclipse on August 21st, please be warned that stock is running very low on solar glasses, filters, and other necessary gear. B&H put together a great how-to portal for the big eclipse event, but unfortunately most of their gear is now sold out or backordered.

Luckily there are still a few great gear options in-stock for photographing the eclipse. (Including one of our favorites, a LEE Filter system kit!)

Formatt Hitech Firecrest 77mm 5.4 ND Eclipse Filter for $189.95 (backordered 2-3 days)
Formatt Hitech Firecrest 82mm 5.4 ND Eclipse Filter for $196.95
Tamron 95mm 5.0 ND Eclipse Filter for $299.00
LEE Filters 100x100mm Solar Eclipse Filter and Foundation Kit for $229.95 (filter adapter required)

Please also note that the ND filters above are safe for photography, but not safe for viewing — you will also need solar glasses (that block UV and other parts of the spectrum not blocked by a neutral density filter). Here is what is still in-stock at B&H (beware of many fakes that are being sold on other platforms):

Don’t wait, as these items are selling fast, and be sure to check out the B&H how-to portal.
