Managed to preorder R5 with tax and special discounts; yes, $500. Did not manage to get in on 100-500.

It may have been intended, but perhaps not to an audience of this scale — that’s a huge discount on new release items that you can’t find anywhere in-stock right now.

At least one person I know had a pre-order from [retailer] slated to ship tomorrow. He called them and they applied the discount to his order. That means its not a mistake and if you are on the pre-order list, ask for the discount.
