Best Deals Still Left in the Canon Refurb 10% + 10% = 20%-Off Sale

The Canon Direct Store has an incredible 20% discount with two stacking sales: a 10%-off sale, and a 10%-off coupon code (when you use coupon code “BRN8B7D” in-cartthanks to the readers who shared the code). We don’t think this large of a discount was intended, so please take advantage while this stacking opportunity is available.

The most popular item, the RF 28-70mm F2 L USM for an incredible $1959.34, sold out in an hour, but there are still many great deals left while their limited quantities last or until the coupon code is disabled (whichever happens first).

We’ve listed our favorite deals below. Check out our refurb stock tracker to see all items that are currently in-stock. Refurbished items from the Canon USA store come with a 1-year Canon USA warranty. Also, the discount code seems to only apply to the highest value item in cart, but it appears there is no restriction on separating your purchase into several transactions.

  1. RF 50mm F1.2 L USM for $1505.74
Easily the the best remaining deal in the store at this point, this lens goes for $2299 brand new from authorized dealers, and this is a 35% discount!

  2. RF 24-105mm F4 L IS USM for $728.14
A great standalone deal, for a lens retailing at $1099.

  3. EOS R ($1327) and EOS RP ($744), add RF 24-105L for about $650
These are very strong prices for the EOS R and EOS RP, when compared to street prices of $1699 and $849 respectively. You can add the RF 24-105 for roughly $650 (R + 24-105L, RP + 24-105L), which is well below the used market price for the lens.

  4. EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM refurbished for $1327.54
This lens was replaced with the mk. III but is still an excellent lens; this is the lowest refurbished price seen yet for the lens!

  5. EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II USM refurbished for $6495.34
Also another “lowest seen yet” refurbished price for this lens, $300 below the previous benchmark deals for this lens.

  6. Other Assorted Lenses…
There aren’t many big-ticket items in-stock, but the EF 11-24mm for $1959.34, the EF 50mm f/1.2L for $922.38, EF 85mm f/1.2L II for $1311.34 are all at lowest (or new lowest) price points.

My order was cancelled in an hour after ordering. Does anybody has same issues?

Normally, the problem is your credit card was declined. Check with your bank?

On my bank account there are two transactions, one for charge, another for return. But I used PayPal to pay. Tried another time with direct payment, will know soon

returned transaction again, bank told that they approved the transaction. Canon returned the money without specifying reasons

Waiting for that RF 35mm to be in stock. I wonder why they can’t keep either the new or refurbished in stock, no other retailers seem to have that problem.

I wonder why the RF 50 count keeps on fluctuating. It was out of stock yesterday, then I’ve seen it at 1 in stock, up to 5, and now back to 3. Is this because other people are getting orders canceled?

(Mine from yesterday seems to have gone through so far.)

Possibly. People are either cancelling duplicate orders, or orders are failing a fraud check.

My rf 50 f1.2 purchase went through but now the status is back ordered. And the funny thing is that I’ve seen it go from 1 remaining to out of stock three times!! Wonder what’s goin on??!
