Canon USA Increases Instant Rebates — But Free CarePAK Expired

Canon USA renewed their instant rebates on bodies and lenses. They also slightly increased their instant rebate on 19 lenses and 4 flashes. Unfortunately, the very popular CarePAK Promotion has expired.

Also included in the instant rebate renewal is the EOS-1D X Mark II pre-order promotion, get a free CFast card when you pre-order the EOS-1D X Mark II at Amazon, B&H or Adorama.

Two of the current Canon promotions are scheduled to expire on Saturday, February 27th, unless renewed by Canon USA.

The current slate of lens instant rebates are scheduled to expire on Saturday. Many of these rebates were initiated prior to the holiday buying season in October 2015. AllNewShop via eBay (also known as GetItDigital) is now featuring two excellent grey market lens deals: the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM II for $1749.99, and the Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM for $579.95.

This is the first deal we’ve seen from this seller for a while — they were a complete no-show during the 2015 holiday season, and we can’t help but wonder if the on-going litigation is the cause. They are a reliable grey market dealer, for which a Canon USA warranty is not guaranteed.
