Samyang lenses are identical (same optics) to Rokinon lenses. They’re from the same manufacturer and are marketed under several different brands. This is a fantastic price on a well-reviewed, sharp manual-focus lens. This lens is designed for full-frame cameras and one of its best uses is for astrophotography. Multiple Lens Mail-in Rebate Renewed, 3 Lenses Added

The very popular multi-lens mail-in rebate was renewed tonight, and three recently announced lenses were added to the list. Here is the new rebate form. The new rebate period runs from October 30th through December 31st, covering the holiday season in its entirety. This also means the mail-in rebates are unlikely to increase for the holiday season. Three lenses are now newly eligible for the mail-in rebate (when purchased with another):

When Canon introduced the EOS-1D X Mark II they created a “pre-order special” which included a free 64GB SanDisk CFast 2.0 card and a CFast card reader. The price of this “premium kit” was the same as the body-only price of $5999 (due to a $300 instant rebate on the premium kit.)

We’ve now been told that this instant rebate is expiring on Saturday. That is, after Saturday, the price on the EOS-1D X Mark II Premium Kit will be increasing by $300. There will be a corresponding increase in our street price.
