Plan Ahead: Canon Instant Savings, Tariffs, and Store Closures

The second phase of “reciprocal tariffs” came into effect at midnight, earlier today, and the tariff rate on goods from Japan (including most Canon cameras and lenses) is now 24%. Consumer prices have not yet changed. It’s suspected that the first opportunity for a price change will be on April 20th, at the end of the current Canon instant savings period.

Canon is currently discounting an assortment of popular RF cameras and lenses by up to $300 with “instant savings” that you can see active at Canon USA authorized dealers, until April 20th.

Please note that some dealers will start their Passover holiday on Friday, April 11th, and re-open on April 20th. If you wish to order in the current instant rebate period at these dealers (such as B&H and Adorama) please do so before Friday.
