Canon Canada Also Raising Prices on RF/EF Lenses, Effective March

Canon Canada notified their dealer network that “it has become necessary” to raise prices on select RF/EF lenses, mirroring the Canon USA price increase earlier this week. Most items are seeing a C$150 or C$300 increase. We’re told this increase will happen in early March — dealers may sell existing stock at the lower price, prior to the price increase.

Canon authorized dealers in Canada (such as Camera Canada and Henry’s) have also been impacted by the on-going supply issues, and are already sold out of most of the items that will be affected by the price increase. Some items, notably the RF 70-200mm f4L, the RF 600mm, and RF 800mm, are still available.

A few entry-level cameras such as the SL3 and T7 are also impacted by price increases.
