Do you know how long canon takes to process a refurb order? I managed to grab one rf24-105 F4L the last time i was notified bt CPW but its been a week now and i haven’t gotten a shipping confirmation. Thank you!

I also ordered that lens, on December 1st. Site and my confirmation email said it was in stock. But now they say it’s on back order. I searched online and there are many people complaining about how canon does this frequently. They post things as being in stock and you order them, and then mysteriously they are suddenly on back order and sometimes they have to wait months to receive them. The order falls into limbo, and you can’t even talk to anyone about it. I have tried to call canon but it’s impossible to get any customer support. Since the confirmation email acknowledging my order, I have received no communication from Canon after two weeks.

I ordered the RF 24-105 lens four weeks ago, and have heard nothing from Canon since. I placed the order because on the website it said that it was in stock and I received a confirmation email saying it was in stock. But now when I check the status online, it says it’s on back order. The only way I know if to cancel the order is to call customer service, but every time I call I can’t get anyone to talk to me. I waited an hour the other day and still nothing. This is some way to treat a loyal canon user!
