This is a tempting lens, I just feel that range is a little too limited to be usefull. Would love that extra 2/3rd stop over my 17-55mm f2.8, but I am frequently in the 40-55mm range of that lens. I wonder if it was a cost effective decision to limit at 35mm or physics just wouldn’t allow it?

Nice lens. Many reported problems with focusing on the 7dm2 but works awesome on mine and the low light ability is great. Can’t give enough accolades about the sharpness.

I did a bunch of low light tests at 1.8 on the 7dm2 with back button focus with one shot and aiservo and was pleased with all shots but images were notably better when stepped down to 2.2 and higher.

I was prepared to calibrate the lens but I guess I was lucky. It’s dead-on. Anyway, I’m quite pleased with this lens.
