“Error:We are unable to process your order. Please contact Customer Service at 1-800-385-2155.”

    Thanks Canon. Maybe next year.

    I’m getting the same message…

  3. November 24, 2016 at 1:40 am EDT

I just tried ordering a lens and am getting consistent “there was an error processing your request” on multiple computers. I’ve got an email into support but wanted to let other folks know that there may be issues with the website right now.

    1. November 24, 2016 at 1:52 am EDT

Wonderful. Canon setting the bar for eCommerce sites, as usual. 🙂

    2. November 24, 2016 at 2:11 am EDT

Getting the same error, stayed up for nothing 🙁

    3. November 24, 2016 at 2:53 am EDT

      Me too.

    4. November 24, 2016 at 3:03 am EDT

I just tried again and the purchase went through. I hope it worked.

If you have a Canon account… try checking out as a guest instead of via your Canon account?

If you were checking out as a guest… try checking out with an account?

        🙂

Also, I think it’s not a widespread issue — if it was, this page would be lighting up with comments from people unable to checkout. There are 500+ people looking at this right now…

Nope… Canon fail. =( Maybe this is just someones way of telling me to stop spending money! =D

You’re lucky there’s no 100-400 II in-stock. You’d probably have people trying all night to checkout @ $1495.32.

Does CPW do wake up calls? 🙂

Funny you ask. One reader told me that his CPW notification e-mails triggered calls on his cellphone, using IFTTT. Now that’s dedication 🙂

Is there a code to get the 15%?

    1. CanonPriceWatch
      November 24, 2016 at 1:44 pm EDT

Automatically applied to most lenses — doesn’t apply to ones already discounted with a different promotion, or certain supertelephotos.

    November 24, 2016 at 1:49 pm EDT
