Hot: 15%-Off Refurb Lenses with Coupon, 5D Mark III Deal Coming

The Canon Direct Store is having a very rare 15%-off refurbished lens sale with Coupon Code. The catch is: one-time use coupon codes were privately e-mailed to you by the store, please check your e-mail to see if you have received one. If you didn’t receive one, don’t worry: you can now use the public code “SPOOKYSAVINGS”.

Click here to see what is currently in stock at the Canon Direct Store.

We’re also hearing there will be an incredible deal on the EOS 5D Mark III Refurbished after midnight ET tonight. Please be sure to subscribe to notifications and check back after midnight for the details on that deal.

If you’re lucky enough to have a coupon, here are some of the best deals in-stock now (after 15% off). They certainly won’t last.

Please check our refurbished stock tracker for the full list of items available.

If you purchase something through a link on our site, we may get a small share of the sale (at no cost to you). Please read our disclosure for more info.

Do the refurbished camera bodies from Canon Store have zero shutter actuations?

No, most will have from a few to a few hundred actuations.

I received the e-mail. Code won’t work. Spoke with Canon, they said that the sale starts on Friday. There is no mention of this in the e-mail.

There is a code that you should have received which starts with “PRESPOOKY”, we have confirmed that these codes work.

I didn’t get that one. Guess I’m left in the dark…it’s spooky there!

5D3 body is also refurbished? And what’s the return policy on this deal? Do you guys think the quality is still decent even for the ref lens?

If you have an extra code, please contact me, thanks.

I wonder how they determined who got the codes. I have bought from them, most recently a month ago. It is a little frustrating.

No email for me too. Even though I’ve ordered from them before. I’d take one if someone received one they won’t use. Thanks in advance!

I didnt get any codes either, despite ordering multiple lenses from them 🙁

I would sincerely appreciate if someone can paste me their unused and unwanted code at http://www.wepaste.com/Sid/ Thanks!

Canon sent out a follow-up email today titled “We made a boo-boo, here’s the correct code!”

    Hey Gordon,
Your post is a little confusing. If someone goes to the “Click here…it will take them to the Canon store. Or if they click on the Canon store link at the top, it will take them to the right place. But if you click on the individual links to each lens it takes you to where you need to fill in the info for canonpricewatch.com Basically yoru place.
So, due to that, people may lose out on getting a lens or camera that goes pretty fast. I think you should label the individual lens groupings to be noted correctly of what that is. Just sayin!

Thanks for the note. The right link for each individual lens (e.g. the price) links directly to the Canon Direct Store. The left side (lens name) links to our page in case people want to see all the options for purchasing that lens.

We were told it would be 15% off on the 5D Mark III with the code … but it looks like they changed it so only the kits are getting a 15% discount. We’re still looking to see what’s up with that.

Will this promotion be better than the coming thanksgiving or black Fri?

The chance of you catching a premium lens like the 70-200 II or 100-400 II in-stock at a discount is very low… it’s much worse during Thanksgiving Week with 5x the people trying to get that deal. If it’s in-stock now, I would go for it.
