Canon Direct Store: Popular Refurbished Lenses Restocked

The Canon refurbished store just restocked. There is currently no sale, and the Canon Direct Store collects tax to almost all states, so please also consider our very competitive street prices on lenses for a brand new lens from an authorized dealer with no tax to most states.

        You beat me to it!

The email sent out while I was commuting home and was sad when I saw I was too late.

I ended up getting one of the four 17mm TS instead. It’ll probably suit my needs since I have a 70D anyway. Now if only the 1.4 Extenders would also restock because those were also sold out by the time I got home, so I picked up the 3x Extender.

I kind of hate to ask this here but. Is it possible that some of these grey market sellers, sell lenses that the big crate or packages have fallen or knocked around somehow. and then sent back and were picked up by the grey market sellers and sold at a lower cost? maybe lens elements can be jolted. but the camera I bought from a grey market seller has been just great and im pleased with it. im more concerned about lenses. hope this makes some sense. sorry about lens rentals:( sell the 16-35’s here 🙂 )

Doubtful. Grey market sellers are just selling “overstock” from other Canon authorized dealers. That being said, you don’t know where the lenses have been and how many times they’ve been shipped around prior to getting to the grey dealers. It’s just doubtful that they are deliberately selling you jolted / knocked around goods.

We’re not affiliated with Lens Rentals Canada — although it is sad to see the demise of yet another lens rentals service, there have been a string of thefts lately all over that industry.
