Not In Stock Since 24 weeks ago. That’s not a sale, that’s a racket.
Count me in on their “going out of business” sale. With Canon’s pricing schemes and outdated sensor tech it won’t take much longer before they join the likes of Kodak.
Yet, over 90% of the lenses have been “out of stock” since the first day they posted the 20% off. They definitely need to restock these lenses.

By the way why are some of the lenses have “Notify me” button and some don’t? Does this mean that this lenses will become available before the deadline?
Regarding the “Notify me” button you’re referring to Canon’s site? No idea with that. Their notification is really slow though — you get e-mailed about restocks an hour later.
Yeah the canon website. My concern is that only a few of the lenses allow to set the notifications. So I thought maybe those are the ones that will be restocked. Otherwise I don’t care about canon’s notifications.
Does Canon not give a rating as to the condition of the refurbed lens? Do they look like new, or show signs of wear?
Most lenses look absolutely perfect. The rumor is that they’re store returns.

Last year, probably only one or two times at 20% off; then they occasionally have 15% off sales, and $125-off-$500 & $50-off-$250, which aren’t as good.
