Despite a Canon USA price increase earlier this week, Amazon still hasn’t raised their prices on the RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM or RF 85mm f/1.2L USM — you can still place orders at the old $2699 prices for each.
Both are out-of-stock, but Amazon is showing that they will be in-stock soon (giving an estimate of 1-2 days for the RF 85mm).
It’s been a busy week for our street price deals — while some of our Labor Day deals sold out, and others were impacted by the Canon USA price increase, we still have a few great deals available (while quantities last). Authorized Canon dealers are discounting several popular RF bodies and lenses. These items come with a 1-year Canon USA warranty and free shipping within the continental USA. As of midnight, things just got a little more expensive. Canon USA raised prices on 7 RF lenses and the EOS 5D Mark IV. The $100 price increase on the lenses is no surprise, as most RF lenses have been plagued by supply issues since late last year, and have been out-of-stock at most major dealers all summer. We’re not sure what the $200 price increase on the 5D Mark IV is trying to accomplish, given the camera was already uncompetitive at the previous $2499 price point.
