Super Hot Imports: 5D Mark III for $1949, 6D for $1099, 7D2 for $1399

These hot deals got even better with a $50 coupon code:

BigValueInc via eBay has the Canon EOS 5D Mark III for $1949.00. Enter coupon code “CLC10OFF” at checkout for an additional $50 off. This is the new lowest price seen yet on the 5D Mark III.

This coupon code also works on the EOS 6D from BigValueInc ($1099), the EOS 7D Mark II from GetItDigital ($1399), and the EOS 70D from BigValueInc ($699). Hot deals, all at lowest-seen-yet prices!

The coupon code expires today. The frenzy deals may expire soon (they’ve been running since Monday). Readers who ordered the 5D Mark III earlier in the sale have already reported receiving brand new bodies with 0-shutter counts (see comments on previous posts).

These are likely an import or grey market body, you can read more about this at our FAQ. BigValueInc via eBay is not an authorized dealer. A Canon USA warranty is not guaranteed (the store provides a warranty instead). Historically Canon USA has provided warranty service on grey market bodies anyway — but this is at the discretion of Canon USA, and can change at any time.

This retailer has been a reliable eBay seller based on eBay feedback and reader feedback. No readers have noted up-sell calls from BigValueInc, but GetItDigital is known to upsell.

Hot: EOS 6D (Import with WiFi/GPS) for $1149 BigValueInc via eBay

BigValueInc via eBay has the Canon EOS 6D for $1149.00. This is the new lowest price that we’ve seen yet on the EOS 6D.

This is likely an import or grey market body, you can read more about this at our FAQ. BigValueInc via eBay is not an authorized dealer. A Canon USA warranty is not guaranteed (the store provides a warranty instead). Historically Canon USA has provided warranty service on grey market bodies anyway — but this is at the discretion of Canon USA, and can change at any time.

If you are still uncomfortable, a popular alternative is our street price of $1299 after $300 mail-in rebate from a Canon USA authorized dealer with free shipping. That $150 buys you a guaranteed Canon USA warranty, a great return policy, and a bit more piece of mind as the transaction is with a very reputable authorized dealer, one that we already list on our site.

eBay Deals: 1DX for $4199, 6D for $1199, 24-105L for $607

Here are three great eBay grey market / import deals:

AllNewShop via eBay has the Canon EOS-1D X for $4199.99. This ties the lowest price that we’ve ever seen on this camera. We warn that the store does attempt to upsell. Stay firm and they will ship you a brand new Canon EOS-1D X, with a 1-year store warranty at this fantastic $4199.99 price. (Based on reader reports, Canon USA will still provide warranty service on grey bodies, but Canon USA can change this at any time.)

The deal from thepixelhub via eBay on the Canon EOS 6D for $1199.99 is still live — 80 bodies sold. This is the lowest EOS 6D price ever seen. Our authorized dealer street price of $1299 is only $100 more with a guaranteed Canon USA warranty (after the $300 Canon mail-in rebate).

There’s a new deal from Get It Digital via eBay. They have the EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM for $607.49. Compare with our authorized dealer street price of $629 with a guaranteed Canon USA warranty.

eBay Daily Deal: EOS 6D (WiFi/GPS) for $1199 from thepixelhub

This is the lowest price on the EOS 6D we’ve seen yet: thepixelhub via eBay has the Canon EOS 6D for $1199.99. This is today’s eBay Daily Deal. It’s likely grey market.

We’ve never heard of thepixelhub before, so we did some research: they have a solid eBay history of selling Canon items. Recent transactions on the 6D appear successful (except one person who didn’t realize this was a grey market / import).

The listing clearly indicates built-in WiFi and GPS; they also mention a 1-year Canon USA warranty, but our readers know that this is at the discretion of Canon USA (as they are not an authorized dealer). Overall, this checks out as legit, also you have eBay/PayPal/credit card buyer protection to back you up in case anything goes awry. UPDATE: The seller modified their listing to change “Canon USA Warranty” to “Seller Warranty”.

If you are still uncomfortable, a popular alternative is our street price of $1299 after $300 mail-in rebate from a Canon USA authorized dealer with free shipping. That $100 buys you a guaranteed Canon USA warranty, a great return policy, and a bit more piece of mind as the transaction is with a very reputable authorized dealer, one that we already list on our site.

(In other news, Tuesday’s 5D Mark III $1999 blow-out sold out — a total of 400 bodies sold.)

Street Price Specials: 7D Mark II $1529, Tamron 15-30mm $1080

We’ve got a few fantastic street price specials.

The EOS 7D Mark II is now only $1529 brand new from an authorized Canon dealer with Canon USA warranty. This is the lowest price seen yet for this camera, which is still listed at $1799 at other dealers. This sold out last week within a few days — this deal is only available while quantities last!

SOLD OUT! The Tamron SP 15-30mm f/2.8 DI VC USD was only recently announced, and we’re pleased to have a street price on the very first day of availability: $1080.00 from an authorized Tamron dealer with a full 6-year Tamron USA warranty. The lenses are in-stock and available to ship right now, in both Canon or Nikon mounts. Compare with $1199 at other dealers who are out of stock!

One of our most popular street prices is the EOS 6D for $1299 after the $300 Canon mail-in rebate, brand new from an authorized Canon dealer with free shipping. Many of the replacements planned this year are for the high-end (5Ds and a rumored 5D Mark IV), we haven’t seen or heard any rumors of a 6D replacement any time soon. The 6D + 24-105L is $1829 AR.

5DS Preorder Notifications, or 5D Mark III $2149, 6D $1299 AR

The EOS 5DS ($3699) was announced, but not available for pre-order because the camera does not yet have FCC approval. To get notified the instant the 5DS are available for pre-order, use our notification system to sign-up for pre-order notifications on the EOS 5DS or notifications on the EOS 5DS R.

Since yesterday’s launch we’ve had a surprising surge in interest for the 5D Mark III and 6D. If you have read the EOS 5DS specs and decided the camera is just not for you (or are not willing to wait until June), there are still some excellent deals on the 5D Mark III and 6D as retailers continue to clear them out:

The 5D Mark III is only $2149 (might be import) from GetItDigital via eBay. As recently as yesterday, readers have recently reported receiving Canon USA warranty cards on 5D Mark III purchases from this store. (Recent purchases of the 1D X for $4199 have been without warranty cards — likely grey market.) If you prefer an authorized dealer with a guaranteed Canon USA warranty, our street price is $2399 AR.

We also have the EOS 6D brand new from an authorized Canon USA dealer with a full Canon USA warranty for $1299 after the $300 Canon-mail in rebate.

Live Again: Hot 6D Bundle — $1249 Body / $1749 Kit AR at Adorama

This hot EOS 6D + 24-105mm f/4L IS bundle deal is back! It sold out in 90 minutes on Monday.

Adorama has a bundle of the EOS 6D with 24-105mm f/4L Kit, PIXMA PRO-100 and free paper for $1749.00, after a $650 mail-in rebate ($300 on camera + $350 on combo.)

Click here to check out the deal at Adorama. This is the lowest price we’ve seen for the EOS 6D with 24-105mm f/4L Kit in a bundled form. It’s similar, to a deal seen during Cyber week (although this price is $100 less than last time, and last time had a slightly better printer).

There’s also a similar deal for the EOS 6D (body only) and PIXMA PRO-100 for $1249.00, after a $650 mail-in rebate, which is still an extremely good deal (but not nearly as good a deal as the kit.) You can click here to check out that deal at Adorama.

The Canon mail-in rebates (including this Combo rebate) are extremely reliable, and many readers have already gotten them from the Cyber week sale. If you don’t need a printer, nor want to deal with the extra combo rebate, our street prices are $1829 AR on the EOS 6D with 24-105mm f/4L Kit and $1299 AR on the EOS 6D from authorized Canon dealers.
