Live Again: Hot 6D Bundle — $1249 Body / $1749 Kit AR at Adorama

This hot EOS 6D + 24-105mm f/4L IS bundle deal is back! It sold out in 90 minutes on Monday.

Adorama has a bundle of the EOS 6D with 24-105mm f/4L Kit, PIXMA PRO-100 and free paper for $1749.00, after a $650 mail-in rebate ($300 on camera + $350 on combo.)

Click here to check out the deal at Adorama. This is the lowest price we’ve seen for the EOS 6D with 24-105mm f/4L Kit in a bundled form. It’s similar, to a deal seen during Cyber week (although this price is $100 less than last time, and last time had a slightly better printer).

There’s also a similar deal for the EOS 6D (body only) and PIXMA PRO-100 for $1249.00, after a $650 mail-in rebate, which is still an extremely good deal (but not nearly as good a deal as the kit.) You can click here to check out that deal at Adorama.

The Canon mail-in rebates (including this Combo rebate) are extremely reliable, and many readers have already gotten them from the Cyber week sale. If you don’t need a printer, nor want to deal with the extra combo rebate, our street prices are $1829 AR on the EOS 6D with 24-105mm f/4L Kit and $1299 AR on the EOS 6D from authorized Canon dealers.

So if I received Canon rebate cards recently from the Black Friday deals, will I be able to do this rebate? (Black Friday was for the Printer deal, this time I would buy the lens + 6D deal.)

From what I understand from Canon’s rebate system, you can only get a rebate once per rebate cycle. So the Black Friday deals were in a different rebate cycle, so you should be good to go on this one.

I don’t think so. The rebate now is the same one as the one on Black Friday. Canon only extended the rebate period instead of started a new one.

Charlie is correct. Canon *extended* the rebate cycle, they did not start a new one. This is NOT a new rebate cycle.

If you already claimed one printer rebate after November 22nd, you cannot do a second.

One caveat on this. If you got a rebate for the Canon pro-10 during that this cycle, you can still take advantage of this for the pro-100. I called and confirmed with them, as they are different products (this assumes you didn’t get a 6D before)

Thanks for that clarification — didn’t know that. Does sound a bit risky though. 🙂

The rebates don’t add up to me

    1. January 22, 2015 at 3:38 am EDT

$300 for the EOS 6D. $350 for the EOS 6D + Printer + Paper Combo. Total rebate is $650. For the kit, you pay $2399, then get a $650 rebate, to net $1750.

    2. January 23, 2015 at 12:55 am EDT

Canon will not honor separate rebates.

    3. January 23, 2015 at 12:57 am EDT

Yes they will. Adorama and B&H had a very similar deal (6D + PRO-10) during Cyber Week, and readers have successfully gotten the double rebate. You can stack a body rebate + a printer combo rebate.

    4. January 23, 2015 at 12:57 am EDT

You must submit both rebates on the same form.

    5. January 23, 2015 at 12:59 am EDT

Ok… When I just spoke to a manager of sales on the phone, she said she did not know how Adorama is getting this multiple rebate price. Might be worth a call. If you guys get a different answer, let me know!

    6. January 23, 2015 at 1:09 am EDT

      Manager of sales for whom?

    7. January 23, 2015 at 1:43 am EDT

Canon. The way she worked it out. The max rebate was $350 for the camera, and $100 for the printer. She said that canon was not able to stack bundled deals like that. Which makes sense. If you also look on the rebate paper, there is no selection for this bundle. You can check it out at rebates.canon.com. The rebates just don’t add up to canon the way adorama states, as great as it sounds. But as I said before… If you find something different, please let me know! I’ll send my 6D back right now (still under warranty)! And grab a printer for the same price!

    8. January 23, 2015 at 6:29 am EDT

That’s what we came up with.

    9. January 23, 2015 at 9:42 am EDT

      Um… here’s the rebate form: https://www.usa.canon.com/CUSA/assets/app/pdf/Promotions/canon_ijp_camera_mirform.pdf

You get a $300 mail-in rebate on page 1 for the EOS 6D. Then a $350 rebate on page 3 for buying the EOS 6D in conjunction with a printer and paper. I have no idea where this “$100 for printer” is coming from, I don’t see a $100 printer rebate anywhere on the form, how did you reach this sales manager for Canon? Again, we’ve had *hundreds* of readers do this in December with no problems at all.

    10. January 23, 2015 at 10:11 am EDT

Do they have the rebate cards in hand?

    11. January 23, 2015 at 10:20 am EDT

Yes — if you go back and read the posts in December where we posted this deal, you’ll see many readers posted that they received BOTH rebate cards already.

    12. January 23, 2015 at 10:22 am EDT

I’ll show this post to wifey, she is the one interested, thanks.

    13. January 23, 2015 at 2:05 pm EDT

I’m not claiming to be right here, but the form itself says, ” Limit 1 claim per eligible product per household, except in Rhode Island. Claim form may include separate purchases of different eligible product(s).”

It seems like you can’t claim more than one rebate based on their terms. Maybe the rebate form was different in December?

    14. January 23, 2015 at 6:09 pm EDT

Same identical form as December. That restriction prevents you from buying 2 x 6D, or doing two printer bundles. It is confusing, but the printer bundle (primary item: printer) and the 6D (primary item: 6D) are two separate eligible products.

    15. January 24, 2015 at 12:11 pm EDT

Also you are not allowed to use a printer combo with a regular printer rebate, but from what I read you can do one from the top section and a combo from the bottom as long as not a printer. Works out fine, I grabbed mine when this was posted, but noticed yesterday it went up. The increase was from their direct discount.

  3. January 21, 2015 at 8:21 pm EDT

I recently bought a Canon 85 mm 1.8 lens and mailed in a rebate (December, same cycle). I am still eligible for the 6D Body + Printer rebate, correct?

    1. CanonPriceWatch
      January 21, 2015 at 8:32 pm EDT

Yes. You can get multiple rebates, provided they are different items, just like in your case.

      1. January 21, 2015 at 9:16 pm EDT

Perfect. I wanted to get the Pixma Pro-10 Black Friday deal but I will go for this one instead since that doesn’t seem to be coming back.

  9. January 23, 2015 at 12:55 am EDT

According to canon, this deal is fraudulent. Just called them.

    1. January 23, 2015 at 1:00 am EDT

Adorama is one of the largest authorized dealers around. This is the second time they’ve offered this deal (they had it during Cyber Week), and readers successfully got the $300+$350=$650 mail-in rebates.

      1. rustythegeek
        January 23, 2015 at 8:24 am EDT

I got mine and that was in addition to another $100 rebate on the 16-35 f/4 IS lens from ProFeel. ($300 + $350 + $100, three AMEX Cards) So it definitely wasn’t fraudulent.

  10. January 23, 2015 at 8:59 am EDT

I got my 6d almost 2 years ago and it was $1804 by itself this is a sweet deal and the 6d is a great camera, shoots good images at 25600 ISO

  11. January 23, 2015 at 10:05 am EDT

Do we get the whole rebate in the Amex card?

Was on the edge of upgrading. Prices went up $90. Decision made for me, I’m standing pat.

    1. January 23, 2015 at 5:22 pm EDT

Same here. I just noticed the price change

  14. January 23, 2015 at 6:06 pm EDT

Stay away! Not a cash rebate, you get a card which is near impossible to get cash out after waiting for weeks. If it’s too good to be true… its a dam scam.

    1. January 23, 2015 at 5:24 pm EDT

Not a scam for sure, the rebate form explains it pretty well, you get an Amex card for the value of the rebate, you can only make purchases with it and no cash withdraws, but that’s ok for me.

    2. rustythegeek
      January 23, 2015 at 5:29 pm EDT

Don’t be so dramatic. It’s not a scam. The rebate comes in the form of a AMEX Card. I activated and then redeemed mine for a combined sum of $750 in my Amazon Gift Card balance online and then used the combined sum to buy another item from Amazon. It’s not a big deal and it was fast and easy.

SHOP with Discover to save $50 more dollar from Adorama. check in Discover deals page, I found this in my discover IT card.

“$50 back on a purchase of $500 or more at Adorama. Savings will be applied as a statement credit.” Expires: 02/04/2015

  16. January 25, 2015 at 5:12 pm EDT

Why are people acting so dramatic, this is probably the cheapest FF in the market right now. I was one of the buyers who purchased from adorama and went through the whole rebate process and got my $650 ($300 + $350) ill just apply the rebate AMEX credit card through my pay pal credit and boom done… $1900 – 650 = $1250.

Adorama is a reputable company and even recognized recognized by BBB accredited busines (i.e. BBB sets standards for ethical business behavior and monitors compliance. Almost 400,000 Accredited Businesses meet and commit to our high standards.which has a good standing with its).

Remember its the photographer not the camera and this an actually good deal.

    Hi CPW,

I think I am having trouble with this claiming the rebate. I use my company’s address as shipping address and billing address on invoice. That is an address used by all our employees (no individual room#). Today I tried to file the rebate and called Canon, they said:

    1) Mailing address on rebate form must match your billing address on invoice;
    2) If there was other people use your billing address claimed a same rebate, you will be rejected.

I feel really frustrated. “1 claim per household” should not restrict people based on company address! Do you have idea or experience about whether the woman told me was true or not? What should I do… Thanks..

I would suggest asking the retailer if they can re-issue an invoice with your home billing address… worth a shot. Also, I would submit the rebate anyway and see what happens.
