Although the lens is slightly slower than the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II, this will be a great option for many at less than half the price. Assuming the quality of the optics matches their previous offerings (including the Sigma 150-600mm) this lens looks to deliver tremendous value for the price.
