Authorized Canon USA dealer Beach Camera via eBay has the Canon PIXMA PRO-100 plus 50 sheets Pro Luster photo paper for $49.99, after a $250 mail-in rebate.
This is a fantastic price; the ink alone goes for over $100. The price is $299.99 in-cart, then you get a mail-in rebate to net $49.99. The current rebate period is from July 1st to August 31st, you can only buy one printer during this period.
The gem from yesterday’s new product announcements appears to be the Canon W-E1 WiFi Adapter, available for pre-order at a very reasonable $39.95 at B&H Photo Video or Adorama. It’s compatible with the 7D Mark II, 5DS and 5DS R.
This Wi-Fi adaptor (in the form of an SD card) allows you to wirelessly transfer photos and MP4-format video to a smartphone, tablet, or computer, and use Canon’s Camera Connect mobile app to remotely control and trigger the camera. This is all done over a 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz) band with a range of up to 32.8′.
This is available for pre-order for a very reasonable $39.95 at B&H Photo Video or Adorama and will first ship on September 8th — I’m sure this one will be popular!
The EOS 5D Mark IV has been announced and is ready for pre-order! It features a 30 MP sensor, 7 frames per second, dual-pixel autofocus, a 61-point autofocus system, 4K 30P video, touchscreen LCD, and built-in WiFi, GPS and NFC, all at a price of $3,499.00.

If you’re not keen on shelling out $3K+ on the EOS 5D Mark IV, today Elec.Valley via eBay has the Canon EOS 5D Mark III for $1899.00. This ties for the lowest price seen yet.
Elec.Valley via eBay is a reputable unauthorized dealer. This is a grey market / import body for which a Canon warranty is not guaranteed. Canon USA has historically honored the warranty, but this is at their discretion. They may call to confirm your order — be sure to decline any upsells.
We now have confirmation from several different sources that the initial launch price for the EOS 5D Mark IV will be $3499 USD (in the USA) and $4299 CAD (in Canada). This is assuming no last-minute pricing changes by Canon, which are still possible.
This pegs the EOS 5D Mark IV at the same launch price as the EOS 5D Mark III in 2012. Although the new camera is packed with a bunch of new technology (including 4K, WiFi, and GPS), it’s surprising that Canon didn’t go for a lower price point given all the competitive pressure from Nikon and Sony mirrorless.
