On a legal note, you should still pay sales tax on this when you file.

Depends on where you live. But regardless, one’s personal accounting is a private affair and this is not the proper place for this type of discussion. Here, we discuss the upfront cost of photography gear.

Private accounting is one thing, avoiding taxlaw is another. Sure, it’s state specific, but Julie’s advice to abide by (your state’s) law is warranted.
However, Julie, contingent on application and state, you’re wrong, and anyone’s obligation to pay sales tax on a product used in the manufacturing of tangible personal property, or not, should be followed up with that state’s taxing authority.

Thanks. Great idea! But it’s not letting me change my quantity. Don’t have to do separate purchases?

I think you have to do separate transactions.

Can someone who’s recently done this please help Jim out with specific instructions? Apparently Adobe customer service doesn’t know. But I know many of you readers did this in the last couple days…

I just found this method worked to extend my existing “Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan” :-).

1.) In Lightroom CC, go to Help/Manage My Account… which takes you to Adobe’s website
2.) Login to your account with your Adobe ID
        3.) Click on Manage Plan
4.) Click on Redeem a Redemption Code
5.) Enter the redemption code that B&H emailed you right after your purchase was completed. DONE! It extended my existing expire date another year to Dec. 5th 2017.

Thanks Dave. I have the program up and running. Jim
