Canon selling the refurbished 100-500 for nearly $200 more than the brand new retail price. WTF. That is not the Black Friday deal I was looking for. LOL.
I’m wondering if they’re restocking it in preparation for a possible sale later this week…
Yes. That might be it. Hard to figure what they are up to otherwise. The refurb price on their website was significantly lower before the restock.
I noticed the same on the 35mm macro. Refurb is same price as new
I guess a RF100-500 is not in my future…
Rf100-500 NEW is $2599 now. why is refurb more??
Good question. Hopefully there is a sale. I feel like this would go super fast so may not even be useful.
I was wondering the same thing about the 100-500 price. It’s high on my want list, but it needs to drop to a 2,000-2,100 range for me to bite. Otherwise I’ll just look on reddit or some other used place.
