The Canon Direct Store has discounted a number of EF lenses to clearance prices as part of their newest refurbished sale. The biggest discount is on the EF 11-24mm f/4L USM, which is reduced $1200 to $1499.00.
For the EF 100mm Macro, don’t let the wrong image confuse you — the refurbished listing is indeed for the “L” version, and is available for only $499.00.
Finally, the refurbished EF extenders are a steal at $199 a piece, and well below the used market price.
- EF 11-24mm f/4L USM is now $1499.00
- EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM is now $499.00
- Extender EF 1.4x III is now $199.00
- Extender EF 2x III is now $199.00
Someone convince me to pull the trigger on the 11-24. It is currently $2999 brand new at B&H :O
Sounds like you already know the key argument!
This is inaccurate Canons direct refurbished site dosebt have the 100mm 2.8L pictured, it’s the 100mm 2.8 Non L usm lens not worth the 500 clearance price… follow the link take a look
Please read the post. “For the EF 100mm Macro, don’t let the wrong image confuse you — the refurbished listing is indeed for the “L” version, and is available for only $499.00.”
The listing description and specifications are for the EF 100mm Macro “L”. Only the image is wrong. This is why no one has been buying this lens, and why it’s being discounted so heavily — take advantage of the error.
