EOS R5 Still In-Stock at Canon Store, and Now Available at Best Buy

A large shipment of EOS R5 must have landed, as the Canon Direct Store is still showing a significant count of EOS R5 in-stock (for $3899.00), twelve hours (and many orders) later.

They’re also joined by Best Buy which is also showing stock available for free shipping (receive by November 16th, can upgrade to overnight) or in-store pickup at select locations.

The previously available EOS R5 with RF 24-105mm f/4L for $4999.00 is now showing “1 in stock” which likely means it is no longer available.

Best Buy sold out as of 11:10 AM. Had one in cart, but first wanted to verify their policy on restocking fees (15%) in case a unit was defective.

.. if the camera was defective why wouldn’t you just exchange it for a replacement (no restocking fee). Sounds like you just want to try before you buy and return if you don’t like it, not because it’s defective

Nah. Just don’t want to get stuck with a lemon.

They charge a restock fee for a defective item? It probably depends on where you are, but that doesn’t sound correct.
