Canon’s current instant rebate program will see a major adjustment on September 23rd, with instant rebates going to ZERO on many popular items. This translates to a very large price increase on most popular Canon items.
The rebates are disappearing just as many camera stores will be closed for a week — likely not a coincidence. Once the stores re-open, we expect that the instant rebates will come back gradually, in a build-up to the Black Friday sales. If you need to buy something in the short term, we highly recommend buying this week as prices are uncertain in the near future.
To take advantage of the street prices from authorized Canon USA dealers below (beat the increase!) please ensure your orders are entered early this week..
