Some great prices here. The 17-55mm F2.8 is probably the best lens you can get for APS-C Canon, and even used it holds up well. I’ve had mine for a while, and it’s one of my top two most used lenses (70-200mm F2.8 is the other). That 60mm macro at that price is practically a steal, it’s 400 new and is also built very well. Had mine since 2011 and it still is in great shape. I use mine for both macro work as well as portraits on my 80D. It’s sharpness rivals the 100mm macro, has great color rendition, and a super close min focus (though some might say too close). I think it compares well to the 50mm F1.8 for portraits, save for that little extra bokeh you can get from the 50mm. The 10mm extra compression though just about makes up for that, giving a slightly slimmer look. And considering the 50mm isn’t as sharp wide open as it is at F2.8, I feel it really is a wash, where price is the only real factor in the end. Most the time the 50mm wins that, but for another 100 bucks the 60mm is a sharper lens that can also do macro work. If you were thinking about getting one, this would probably be the best price you will see.

The 85mm F1.2 is in bargain shape, but I would guess that there is nothing wrong with the elements, and I don’t think you will see it at this price in any other way. One of the best lenses for portraits there is, but really, I think that is only true on a full frame camera. On a crop camera the crop factor kind of kills all the things that make it so good at what it does. It’s the combination of things like focal length, distance to subject, and aperture that come together to give it the special DOF it has. On a crop you will either have to frame very tight to get the same effect, or stand further away, which kills it. Full frame users would be getting a great deal, crop users would be getting an expensive lens that has very limited purpose.
