One of our street price dealers is running a very hot deal on the EOS 5D Mark IV and EOS 6D Mark II — for a limited time, they’re including a very popular and valuable Canon item with purchases of either camera at street price. For the full details, please inquire using the links below.
Quantities are very limited and this deal is only available while quantities last. Street price dealers are authorized Canon dealers and the items are brand new with a 1-year Canon USA warranty.
Well… Anyone have any idea what the valuable item is? If it was a printer or battery grip theyd probably say that.
We can’t write about it publicly (or we would have) — so please inquire via the form and find out.
Any chance for any deals on 7d mark 2, body only?
I’ll take a 5D Mk IV thank you.
Used, a 7D with top glass costs far less
Canon 7D is almost ten years old and has a smaller sensor. That’s why it’s cheaper. The 5D Mark IV is a year and a half years old. It’s a full sensor body and new technology (i.e., touch screen, wifi, more megapixels & etc). Full sensor bodies are always more expensive—they’re design for pro users.
The 7D mkII is also designed for pro users, and is not 10 years old (released in 2014), though it has aged compared to the competition (D500 is pretty awesome). New one comes out later this year, and there are no specs yet, but I am hoping Canon drops the AA filter and adds 4K. I would guess touch screen, more MP, wifi, GPS will all be there too. Not gonna be cheap though, but it had better at least match the D500 if they want to stay in the game.
Depending on what you are shooting, a 7D has the potential to outdo the 5D. 10FPS burst, extra 60% reach, and a buffer that just won’t quit, it’s a great wildlife camera, and will outdo a 5D4 for this. You will end up with better overall resolution since you will likely have to crop your images anyway.
For portraits and low light shooting, a full frame camera has the edge, but even then with the right glass an APS-C camera can still do well. I do wish I had been able to get a 5DIV over the holiday, but it jsut wasn’t in the cards. I am guessing though that there will be refurb sales around easter time. Until then I am jsut going to have to make due with my 80D(s).
Two large life-size prints in the next room say that 7D and a top lens did just fine
