At the last minute, Canon USA reversed their decision: they will renew the $200 instant rebate on the EOS 5D Mark IV for 4 more weeks. Until today, all signs were that the instant rebate was not going to be renewed after it expires on Saturday. However, there is currently still no indication that the Canon CarePAK Plus promotion, also expiring on Saturday, will be renewed. Our street price (including the free CarePAK Plus) remains at $3069, brand new, from a Canon USA authorized dealer.
We also have a street price of $2999 from a Canon authorized dealer with a 1-year Canon USA warranty. This particular price is not expected to last long and will likely increase in the near future.

Does this version come with the new C-LOG feature?
No. That will be a separate SKU and have a different price.
Does this mean that the net street price will be $2799?
No. There is currently a $200 instant rebate, and they will simply renew it to keep the current price.
The $2999 street price will expire soon, so we expect the street price to go up to $3069 shortly.
It’s about time to replace our MK3 bodies. Will grips fit the MK4?
I’d love to find two MK3 bodies that are marked down.
Semper Fi Nick, I have a MK3 also and I think the MK4 takes a different grip
Different grip. They have to make a buck.
Jimmy Martinez actually incorporated an extra switch. Note they used the same for the 5Ds(r) that fit the 5d3. New feature or shape requires new grip.
