Hot: Canon Mail-in Rebates Increased — Up to $150 Per Lens!

The big Canon spring sale is here! The very popular Canon USA mail-in rebate has been renewed and increased — you now get up to $150 per lens when you purchase multiple new lenses in the same transaction from a Canon USA authorized dealer.

This deal is stackable with our street prices from Canon USA authorized dealers. These are great savings, some of the best deals include the EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM ($1449 AR) and EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM II ($1619 AR).

To take advantage of the mail-in rebate and get the lower “net price”, you must purchase TWO items from the below list in the same transaction.

If you purchase something through a link on our site, we may get a small share of the sale (at no cost to you). Please read our disclosure for more info.

It seems like the new rebate is more generous on many lenses, and also some lenses have just gone down in their street price, making the rebate that ended on April 1st a much worse deal overall. For example, both the 100mm L Macro and 24-70 II have gone down in street price and increased their rebate values from $100 to $150, Is there any recourse for people who bought on the previous rebate?

Even at this price, the 24-70mm F2.8L is so expensive (still want it). Don’t have the money for it right now anyway, blew my budget on my new 80D during the refurb sale. The price on the 100mm Macro with IS is only 5 dollars more than the non-IS, for anyone that might have overlooked it. I think most the time IS is not all that helpful during Macro photography, but that lens is so good at just really kicking ass for more than just macro, that at some point IS might be handy to have for an extra 5 bucks.
