I got a 5dmiii and 24×105 and it was brand new zero marks or anything.
Why does it say f/4, when on the picture it says f/1.4?
It says 1:4, it’s a ratio. If it was f/1.4 it would say 1:1.4
On the lens it says 1:4 L, not f/1.4 .. That means that the Max. Apperture remains the same (F/4) thru all the zoom range. Hope that helps.
