And this DOES work if you were able to get in on the October 27% refurbished frenzy. Your serial number is your order number. You will need to enter it in twice.
Hey David, thank you for this, however I can’t seem to find my carepak number and it is requiring it. Was it with the packaging material? I checked the email and it is not on there. Thanks for your help
Use your lens/camera serial number as the CarePAK number.
Yes, the serial number is the CarePAK number. Thanks for the clarification, CPW. The process is helped if you already have an account set up through Canon. Log in to your account first, then do the CarePAK registration.
I tried to use the serial number as the Carepak number for my 85 1.2 which bought from Adorama last week. But after I enter the 6 digit number the web shows You have entered an invalid registration number. Is there any problem with the number? Beacuse my other lens is 10 digit number. Thank you
Call — Canon will resolve it.

I had trouble w/PIXMA+camera bundles a while back. If you call they take care of things quickly. Took about 5 minutes.
I registered for this deal and was emailed saying it was not available in U.S.
Call canon. They will do it over tha phone
