An anticlimax after yesterday, but the Sigma 50 mm Art lens is pretty likable for the price if the reviewers have been right about it.
Can’t have a 27% discount every day; we’ll have to settle for just 21% off regular on this lens 🙂
The 35L is a star at $899 though. This lens was $1479 regular price two weeks ago.
If I hadn’t spent so much yesterday I’d be considering some of this…
Man! I’d hate to be someone who has been holding on to a 35L and planning to sell it “whenever I get around to it”. The value on the used market just TANKED! YIKES!
I’m one of those guys. Still love my 35L, but if I could afford it, I would have already upgraded to the latest version. I don’t care for the Sigma 35 Art’s busy bokeh, so here I am still holding onto my beloved 35L and now it’s going to be even more expensive for me to upgrade. I’ll be watching CPW intently for price drops in the 35L II !!
