Canon Refurbished Sale: 15% Off Lenses Until February 19th

UPDATE: A restock happened today at 11:30 AM. You can see what was restocked.

The Canon Direct Store started a sale on refurbished items. They’re offering 15% off lenses and 30% off select bodies until February 19th. You also get Canon eCash with every purchase until February 14th.

As usual, the sale began with not much in-stock. As with previous sales, we expect a large restock sometime during the sale. If the most desirable lenses restock (they don’t always), they will be at fantastic prices (e.g. 70-200 II for $1495.32, 24-70 II for $1359.32). They will, however, sell out in minutes, we highly recommend signing up for a refurbished notification via our refurb stock tracker (click the ‘Notify’ button in the right column next to an out-of-stock item).

Here’s are the good deals currently in-stock:

I’ve signed up for the notifications multiple times, and I’ve still never received any emails even though there have been a couple of sales since I signed up.

Just out of curiosity, would these deals stack with other Canon coupon codes? I have a 15% off Canon provided me for registering a lens.

I believe the coupons Canon offers for registering products are applicable only to accessories. I would be happy to be proved wrong, though ๐Ÿ™‚

What happened to the price of the 70D? This morning it was $700 and something, but sold out. Now it’s in stock, but $959 (or about that). Was it removed from the sale?

By the way, any good deals on the 70D from other retailers?

They never have the 600ex either… Lol

Don’t be swayed to buy from Canon with the incentive of earning E-Cash that can be applied toward a subsequent purchase as Canon makes it as difficult as possible to receive the full benefit of the E-Cash they email you. I entered my E-Cash code to my shopping cart, and the E-Cash discount appeared. I then went to check the reviews on the item I was about to purchase, and when I returned to my shopping cart to complete my purchase – the E-cash discount no longer appear in my cart. I typed in the E-Cash code again, and I received an error message that the E-Cash code was invalid. I contacted Canon by phone and was told that when I entered the code into my shopping cart, the E-Cash had been used – period! It didn’t matter that I hadn’t actually checked out and received the E-Cash benefit. I am sure I am not the only person this has happened to. The Canon Rep I spoke with said he would have to turn this over for investigation, and it could take a couple of days to resolve. I then asked to speak to his supervisor, who was extremely helpful and resolved the matter. The E-Cash was applied to my order, but not as I expected. The accessory’s advertised price was after a 20% sale discount, so I figured my $20 E-Cash would be applied after the advertised sales price on their website, but not so. The E-Cash was applied first against the full regular price of the item, and then the 20% sales discount was applied to the net after E-Cash was applied, so in essence – I didn’t receive the full 20% discount advertised. Isn’t this false advertising????
