Another deal in the on-going eBay Deal Frenzy starts today! BigValueInc via eBay has the Canon EOS 6D with 24-105mm Kit for $1899.99. This is an import model but the listing says it comes with built-in GPS and WiFi just like the US model.
BigValueInc via eBay is a quite reliable and reputable unauthorized dealer who has been selling these cameras at low prices for the last couple years with few complaints heard from our readers. A Canon warranty is not guaranteed so the store is providing a store warranty.
Compare with $2499 at authorized dealers or $2239 authorized through our street price program. There is currently no Canon mail-in or instant rebate available for this camera.
CPW – Do you think these deals on canon 6d are happening pre photokina and will only get better after the camera show?
Given Canon’s MAP I think there’s low incentive to have lower prices, at least until November / Black Friday of this year. This is just my educated guess though.
Great deal Ryan Deffenbaugh

Not from canonusa no warranty. FYI
Yes, as noted in the post.
Dropping to grand with no warranty is rough. Good deal tho.
Yes. Unfortunately a Canon USA warranty isn’t guaranteed, only a store warranty is provided.
I checked out their negative reviews. I found several regarding the 6d kit in particular, stating that customers received used cameras, some with a hundreds of shutter uses on them. Pass

Out of the last 300 transactions of 6D, there is one complaint from someone that they got a used camera. There are 5 negative feedbacks from people complaining they got an import model or split kit (but as noted in the post, you should be expecting this).
It seems like an isolated case to me, I think this is well within the norms of what these unauthorized dealers do; recall they receive overstock from dealers and resell them, it’s doubtful they have the time to check each camera has a shutter count of zero and they are probably snuck in from time to time.
I should add that in the unlikely event that you do receive a used body, you should send it right back and/or open an eBay case.
i was planning on getting a 70d with a 24-105mm f/4L or 24-70mm f/4L. seem like this would be a better deal to get? since it would only cost a few bucks more. or should i wait for the announcement for the new 7d replacement and see if price will drop more?
I think for $200 more it’s worth going to full-frame.
don’t tell me it’s made in China
All EOS 6D are made in Canon factories in Japan.
I am awaiting the shipment for this camera as I ordered it on this deal prior to last Friday’s deadline.
I happened to scan this sellers most recent feedback. There seems to be some suspicious looking feedback for this particular Ebay item #231303161633. There are numerous, short, non-specific comments unrelated to the product, or it’s quality. All for the same 6D kit referenced in this blog post.
“good name” “enjoy the trading” “very reasonable price” “great experience” “great quality” “It arrived 18 hours after it was shipped!”
Authentic feedback would say something about the camera and/or the lens. Some of this feedback sounds like it was auto-created by a computer program.
It’s very difficult to fake eBay feedback, provided the items are real. This is because the merchant has to pay eBay fees (around 5%) for completed transactions. So each “fake” feedback would cost them $90 on a 6D kit.
This is why it’s a good idea to ignore feedback on cheap items, as a feedback on a $1 item costs only 5 cents. This is why our feedback score ignores low value and non-Canon feedback.
