Street Price Drop: EOS 6D for $1449 AR — Rebates Expire Saturday

One of our street price retailers has dropped their price on the EOS 6D body-only to $1449 after a $200 Canon mail-in rebate (you pay $1649 before rebate). It’s brand new, there’s one caveat, but if you are interested (only serious inquiries please) you can contact us for assistance in obtaining this price, and we’ll explain.

The current $200 mail-in rebate on the 5D Mark III and the 6D expire on Saturday. We think they might be extended but do not have a solid confirmation at this time. UPDATE: We have now heard from a few sources that they will not be extended. We currently have the following street prices from authorized dealers:

The battery grip deals expire on Thursday. Learn about street prices at our FAQ.

Does 6D generally have issues with third party lenses as far as focusing? I rented one for a week from a reputable company, and the Canon lens worked great, but both my sigma lenses had trouble focusing and often would not focus at all. I have no issues whatsoever when using the sigma lenses (24-105 & 50mm macro) on my t2i. These are not EF-S lenses.
