We’re now seeing the RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM in-stock at multiple authorized Canon dealers. $1599.00 at B&H, Amazon, and the Canon Direct Store are all showing stock at a price of $1599. This is the first time we’ve seen such broad stock available of this impressively compact telephoto zoom lens.

This lens has yet to be released at other authorized dealers.
B&H and Amazon are now showing availability dates on the newly announced lenses. The RF 50mm f/1.8 STM will be released on December 3rd or 4th with the RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM showing a date of December 10th or 11th.
One neat feature of the RF 50mm f/1.8 STM is the switch that lets you toggle the function of the ring between manual focus and control ring — the nifty-fifty just got a bit niftier!
Given the recent supply issues on new product launches, we recommend a pre-order if you want to obtain one of these two lenses before the holiday season.
