For some reason they’re listing the lens for $2414.99, instead of the usual MAP price of $2399. We’re not sure why Amazon’s algorithms are pricing slightly above MAP, but $15 is better than the $645 premium on the 100-500mm or the $1601 premium on an out-of-stock RF 70-200.

As of midnight, things just got a little more expensive. Canon USA raised prices on 7 RF lenses and the EOS 5D Mark IV. The $100 price increase on the lenses is no surprise, as most RF lenses have been plagued by supply issues since late last year, and have been out-of-stock at most major dealers all summer. We’re not sure what the $200 price increase on the 5D Mark IV is trying to accomplish, given the camera was already uncompetitive at the previous $2499 price point.
