We’re very surprised to see many of the PIXMA PRO-100 printer bundle deals still live. These are incredible deals, after the Canon mail-in rebate; you get the 13-month Canon CarePAK Plus on the camera or lens, and a fantastic PIXMA PRO-100 printer. The printer can be parted and sold for about $140 on the secondary market.

The Canon mail-in rebate expires on December 31st, so we don’t know if these very popular deals will last much longer.

More hot grey market deals from ElectronicsValley via eBay. They have the Canon EOS 6D for $999.00 and the Canon EOS 6D with 24-105mm f/4L Kit for $1499.00. These are the lowest prices seen yet for brand new items.

As before, these are grey market cameras, and ElectronicsValley (also known as BigValueInc) is not a Canon USA authorized dealer. A Canon USA warranty is not guaranteed, only a 1-year store warranty. Historically Canon USA has honored the warranty on grey market items, but that is completely at their discretion.

Please be sure to decline upgrades if they call.

UPDATE: Lots of readers asking if there any “gotchas” with the grey market purchase. There are two important ones. One is return policy — unless the item is defective, there really isn’t one. The store will charge a hefty restock fee if you’re returning it. Once you’ve paid, even if the item hasn’t shipped, it’s difficult to cancel your order without invoking the return + restock. Please be sure you want this before paying. Second, is after-sales service. The vast majority of readers (probably 98%, 99%) haven’t experienced problems, but the 1-2% that do, it may take some patience to get your issue resolved (be it shipping damage, defective items, missing accessories, etc.) This isn’t a big operation (like most authorized dealers are) with the resources invested in customer service, this is why the price is so low!
