Thanks to the new mail-in rebate on EOS 6D and 5D Mark III we now have two additional great street prices from Canon USA authorized dealers.

The EOS 6D with 24-105mm f/4L IS is $2039.99 after the $200 mail-in rebate (you pay $2239.99 before rebate).

A more impressive deal is a bundle of the EOS 6D with 24-70mm f/4L IS for $2199.99 after a $450 mail-in rebate ($200 rebate on the EOS 6D and a $250 rebate for purchasing the 24-70mm f/4L IS bundled with the 6D). This is a great price as it’s only $700 on top of our already low body-only street price for this lens.

In addition to our body-only 5D Mark III street price of $2699 after rebate, we have a price on the 5D Mark III + 24-105mm: $3299 after rebate. These have been very popular with the new rebate!

Street Price Drop: 5D Mark III $2699 and EOS 6D $1449 (After Rebates)

We’re really pleased to confirm a $200 mail-in rebate starting on Sunday for the EOS 5D Mark III and EOS 6D. The rebate period lasts for four weeks. We’ve lowered our street prices to $2699 and $1449 respectively (net price after $200 mail-in rebate).

You can contact us now via the street price form and we can help you get your order placed as soon as the rebate starts.

Also included is a rebate on the PIXMA PRO-100, but unfortunately it has been lowered in value. The rebate is now only $350 on a PIXMA PRO-100 printer (when bundled with an eligible camera and paper purchase). This is down from the $400 rebate, and likely makes these bundles no longer such a great deal.

There are also no standalone lens rebates, so sadly the current lens street prices will expire.

Today’s eBay Daily Deal is from BigValueInc via eBay. They have the Canon EOS 6D for $1399.99. Note that this is an import model and a split kit, but the listing states that the item has both WiFi and GPS, just like the US model.

BigValueInc via eBay is not an authorized dealer so a Canon USA warranty is not guaranteed. A store warranty is provided instead. For this store we calculate a 98.9% feedback score when looking at Canon items only (eBay score is 99.3%).

Compare with $1649 from an authorized dealer through our street price program, as there currently is no rebate available on this camera.

We have now heard a few times that the $200 mail-in rebate on the 5D Mark III and 6D will NOT be extended. They are only good on purchases made on or before Saturday, August 2nd, which means a $200 increase on the effective price of 5D Mark III and 6D until the next rebate period begins.

It’s not too late, even if you purchase now. You have until September 2nd to mail your rebate form.

If you want to take advantage of our street prices, your order should be placed by noon tomorrow, Friday, as many stores do not operate on Saturday.

The lens rebates are still valid until August 30th.

One of our street price retailers has dropped their price on the EOS 6D body-only to $1449 after a $200 Canon mail-in rebate (you pay $1649 before rebate). It’s brand new, there’s one caveat, but if you are interested (only serious inquiries please) you can contact us for assistance in obtaining this price, and we’ll explain.

The current $200 mail-in rebate on the 5D Mark III and the 6D expire on Saturday. ~~We think they might be extended but do not have a solid confirmation at this time.~~ UPDATE: We have now heard from a few sources that they will not be extended. Today’s eBay Daily Deal is from Get It Digital via eBay. They have the Canon EOS 6D for $1399.99. Note they’re not an authorized dealer, but are a reputable unauthorized dealer. They also clearly note that this is an import model; a Canon USA warranty is not guaranteed, so the store is providing a three-year store warranty.

If you’re not interested in import model / grey market, you can also consider the street price of $1499 after rebate (US model, US warranty) from an authorized dealer. BuyDig also has this price after-rebate as part of a PIXMA PRO-100 printer bundle.

They also have the EOS 5D Mark III and PIXMA PRO-100 for $2798.00 (use coupon code EMPRO5H), after a $600 mail-in rebate.

Yes, you can stack the $400 Camera+Printer rebate with the $200 Camera rebate (that’s what the mail-in rebate form says) to get a $600 rebate.

Alternatively, you can now add PIXMA PRO-100 printers to some of our street prices too! The printer is effectively free after rebate.
