We’re moderately surprised to see many of the PIXMA PRO-100 printer bundle deals still live. As expected, the PIXMA PRO printer rebate was renewed with a new rebate period of January 1st – January 31st. As it was renewed with a new promotion ID, this “resets” your eligibility and you can take advantage of an additional printer or printer bundle deal during January (even if you purchased one during November or December.) The printer can be parted and sold for about $140 on the secondary market.

This gives a fresh opportunity to take advantage of one of the existing printer bundle deals.

We now have confirmation from very reliable sources about an effective price increase coming on 11 Canon lenses this Sunday. The current instant savings will be renewed at a lower value for the below eleven lenses, resulting in an effective price increase. Also scheduled to expire is the Canon mail-in rebate on multiple lenses, unless renewed by Canon USA.

This price increase is expected as lenses are now at their lowest price point of the year (for the holiday season). We expect the the current instant savings to continue to reduce and disappear over the next few rebate periods. Now is the time to take advantage of what is historically the best pricing of the year.
