The HG-200TBR Tripod Grip is an especially interesting addition for content creators and hybrid shooters. It combines a compact handheld grip with tripod functionality, so you can move between handheld shooting, tabletop setups, and locked-off video. Canon also announced the BR-E2 Bluetooth Remote, a welcome update a wireless shooting setup, useful for group shots, long exposures, self-recording, or keeping your hands off the camera to reduce shake. It’s available to pre-order for $69.00 at B&H and Adorama.
Finally, Canon introduced the Lens Dust Cap RF II. This is a smaller innovation, but one that RF users will appreciate immediately. The updated design finally addresses the alignment annoyance of the older-style rear lens cap, making it easier to attach properly without fumbling around to find the correct position.
