Canon has announced the EOS C80, a 6K30 full-frame cinema camera that uses the EOS C400’s CMOS sensor with a lightweight design similar to the EOS C70. The camera features triple ISO bases of 800, 3200, and 12,800 in log/raw, upgraded Dual Pixel CMOS AF II autofocus, and simultaneous 12G-SDI and HDMI video output. This RF mount camera also features a motorized ND filter wheel enables on-the-fly exposure tweaking. It’s available for pre-order from Canon dealers at a price of $5499.00, and availability is expected for November 30th, 2024.
