Canon USA Confirms Black Friday (Refurb) Sale Starts Tonight

Canon USA has confirmed on X (formerly known as Twitter) that their Black Friday sale is expected to start Friday (at midnight tonight). As they already launched their camera rebates and lens rebates earlier today, this probably means we can expect to see a refurbished sale starting tonight at the Canon Store. We expect to see discounts on most of the popular refurbished mirrorless cameras and lenses, while quantities last!

Check back at midnight ET tonight for all the deals! You can also get an idea of what is in-stock now at our refurbished stock tracker, and perhaps add it to your cart to get ready.

If you purchase something through a link on our site, we may get a small share of the sale (at no cost to you). Please read our disclosure for more info.

Oh my gosh, I’m sorry I’m in a different time zone than normal right now. I should also say you’re doing a great job. Thanks for fueling the fire, you’re killing it.

Still waiting on the refurb sale. It may take up to 10-15 minutes for it to show up…

I see a pricing update happening on their site. Many refurb items are showing huge instant savings but the “regular price” is higher. I assume they’re just having some problem…

Do we know if they will honor the 10% discount for upgrading?

Who knows, but do you think there will still be stock by tomorrow morning?

For someone just moving to full frame r6 mark I or r8 for pet photography with $100 price difference with this sale?

All about battery life for you. R6 has the better battery, so if that matters, that’s your choice. Otherwise, the specs on the R8 are just as good, and possibly a bit better, w/ better subject detection.

Can we expect the C70 to qualify for the sale?

Probably not. What’s there is there.
